Marvel Rivals Reintroducing Rare Skins Starting June 13 — For a Limited Time

NetEase Games has announced that a selection of rare and highly sought-after cosmetics will be returning to Marvel Rivals on June 13, offering players a second chance to acquire some of the game's most elusive skins. However, fans will need to move quickly—these items will only be available until June 20.

Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol and New Skins Incoming

This announcement follows the recent launch of Marvel Rivals’ new tactical mode, Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol, which introduces grid-based strategic gameplay. Alongside this gameplay update, NetEase Games is also expanding the cosmetics roster with the Future Foundation skins for The Thing and Invisible Woman. These skins will officially debut in the in-game shop on June 12 at 7 PM PDT, although pricing details have yet to be revealed.

Mr. Fantastic also received a Future Foundation outfit earlier, which can be unlocked by participating in the Combat Chest system. While the complete set of his themed cosmetics requires purchasing the chest, the skin itself is available for free through in-game progression.

Returning Skins Include Fan Favorites from Season 0

In a post shared on social media, NetEase confirmed that several legendary cosmetics, including those from the elusive Season 0, will return for a limited time. Among them are:

• Captain America – Galactic Talon Bundle
• Hawkeye – Galactic Fangs Bundle
• Venom – Snow Symbiote Bundle
• Magik – Frozen Demon Bundle
• Rocket Raccoon – Wild Winter Bundle
• Groot – Holiday Happiness Bundle

These skins have been unavailable since the early days of the game, and many fans who joined during Season 1 or later have been vocal about wanting a chance to collect them.

Limited-Time Opportunity and Holiday Bundles

According to the June 12 patch notes, several holiday-themed cosmetics will also return to the shop during this event window. This includes winter bundles for Venom, Magik, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot. All returning bundles will be purchasable until June 20, after which they will once again be retired.

Fan Engagement and Premium Access

This isn’t the first time NetEase has responded to community feedback. The developer recently re-released the entire Season 0 Battle Pass, giving newer players access to cosmetics previously thought to be unobtainable. However, unlike the original release, the reissued pass did not include any free rewards—players were required to spend Lattice, the game’s premium currency, to claim the items.
