The update was shared by Shigeru Miyamoto through Nintendo’s official account on X (formerly Twitter). According to the statement, the decision to postpone was made due to production-related reasons, as the creative team requires more time to deliver the best possible version of the film.

Casting Still a Mystery

Details about the cast remain under wraps. While no official announcements have been made, industry insider Daniel Richtman previously suggested that Hunter Schafer was being considered for the role of Princess Zelda. However, this has not been confirmed by other sources. Other names reportedly in the mix include The Witcher actress Freya Allan and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.
