To celebrate the third anniversary of Diablo Immortal, Blizzard has officially detailed a range of exciting updates, time-limited events, and player gifts as part of the "Threefold Rebirth" festivities. Originally launched in 2022 as a collaboration between Blizzard and NetEase, Diablo Immortal is set in the timeline between Diablo II and Diablo III, and was designed to bring the franchise’s dark fantasy world to mobile and PC audiences.

A Legacy Continued on Mobile

While Diablo Immortal may not stand shoulder to shoulder with franchise classics like Diablo II: Resurrected, Lord of Destruction, or Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, it has successfully translated the essence of Sanctuary into a mobile-first experience. Initially optimized for touch controls, the game has since expanded to include controller and PC support, broadening its accessibility.

Threefold Rebirth: New Events and Rewards

Blizzard’s anniversary update, announced via an official blog post, introduces a host of in-game events and exclusive content:

• Trial of the True Evils (June 1–19) – A challenging event that pits players against powerful foes.
• Infernal Trials (June 4–July 2) – A time-limited event with unique objectives and tiered rewards.
• Set Gear Reforging (June 1–19) – Allows players to reforge set items for optimized builds.
• The Prince’s Trail (June 12–23) – A story-driven limited-time event adding narrative depth.
• Battle Pass 40: Last Light’s Keepers – The newest season brings fresh rewards and progression.
• Free 5-Star Blood Floe Legendary Gem – A powerful gem offered as a celebration gift.
• New Cosmetic: Lineage of Beasts Set – A premium outfit inspired by primal aesthetics.

In addition to the above, players can expect returning events, balance changes, bug fixes, and system improvements to enhance the overall gameplay experience.

Blizzard also recently launched a Berserk crossover event, featuring armor and weapon skins inspired by the legendary manga.
