According to the official description, the game was developed with the involvement of "russian veterans of the war in Ukraine" and focuses on what it calls the “complex events of 2014 and 2022–2024.” The listing goes even further, stating that the game is “officially recommended by the russian army” as a training tool for infantry tactics, intended for military cadets and members of the Youth Army.

Earlier reports suggested that the project had backing from russia’s Ministry of Defense, and was initially planned for exclusive release on the VK Play platform before its sudden appearance on Steam.
