Analogue Pocket coming next year
Analogue, which is developing a remake of the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance handheld consoles called Analogue Pocket, has brought sad news for all fans of retro games. The release of the device was postponed to the next year, but it will be possible to pre-order on August 3.
The console will support Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color and Atari Lynx cartridges. Users will watch the actions of the game on a 3.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1600x1440 pixels. The frame rate will be adjusted. Among other things, Analogue Pocket will be equipped with a docking station included.
Analogue is a well-known company that produces remakes of game consoles. They already have remakes of such retro consoles as Game Boy, Sega Mega Drive, Super Nintendo and others.
It is noteworthy that in 2018 Analogue decided to collaborate with the music label Ghostly International. The fruit of this collaboration was a remake of the Super Nintendo called Super Nt, and in 2019 a cartridge music album was released for the Sega Mega Drive.
