Honkai: Star Rail x Fate/stay night Collab Officially Revealed – Saber & Archer Join the Fight This July

HoYoverse has finally lifted the curtain on its highly anticipated crossover with the legendary anime Fate/stay night during the Honkai: Star Rail Concert 2025. First teased during the Version 2.4 Special Program and Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, the collaboration is now officially titled "Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail" and is set to launch globally on July 11, 2025.

This major crossover will bring beloved Fate characters Saber and Archer into the Honkai: Star Rail universe as limited 5-star heroes, complete with a themed storyline, exclusive gameplay, and one-of-a-kind rewards.

Saber and Archer Join the Roster

• Saber, a 5-star Wind character on the Path of Destruction, will be available through a limited-time Event Warp Banner starting July 11. While her full combat abilities and narrative role are still under wraps, players can expect a high-powered kit faithful to her iconic fighting style.

  

• Archer, also a 5-star unit, will follow the Path of the Hunt and wield Quantum damage. Best of all — he’ll be available for free to all players who log in during the event period, which runs from July 11 until the end of Version 3.6.

HoYoverse has clarified that the collaboration warp will be tracked independently from other limited or standard banners, so players can dive into this event without affecting ongoing pulls. Further details on banner mechanics and duration are expected soon.

A New Holy Grail War on Planet Penacony

The crossover event takes players back to Penacony, where an all-new story arc inspired by the Holy Grail War will unfold. Guided by Kinoko Nasu, the original creator of Fate, this storyline reimagines the war between Heroic Spirits in a cosmic setting, complete with Noble Phantasms, philosophical duels, and character-driven drama.

• Archer, portrayed as a solitary warrior with a sharp sense of justice, will fight at your side as a loyal companion.
• Saber, noble and resolute, joins the Astral Express crew, setting the stage for unforgettable interactions with familiar faces.
