U.S. President Donald Trump is said to be preparing the launch of a new cryptocurrency-based game, where players will be able to earn money and build structures within a virtual city. The report comes from Fortune, which cites anonymous sources familiar with the project.

Inspired by MONOPOLY GO!?

According to insiders, the concept is reminiscent of MONOPOLY GO!, a popular mobile game where players grow their digital fortune by investing in real estate. A second source also likened the Trump-led project to Monopoly, suggesting that it will incorporate similar mechanics involving property development and wealth accumulation.

Bill Zanker Behind the Project

The game is reportedly being developed under the leadership of Bill Zanker, who, along with Dylan Zanker, previously played a major role in launching Trump’s NFT collections. Bill Zanker has strong ties to NFT LLC and Fight Fight Fight Fight LLC, two companies linked to the TRUMP memecoin, which was launched in partnership with CIC Digital LLC.

Official Statement and Release Date

In a comment to Fortune, Kevin Mercure, a representative for Zanker, confirmed that Zanker is indeed working on a game, with plans to officially unveil it in late April 2025. However, Mercure rejected the comparison to Monopoly, stating that the project is not modeled after the iconic board game.

No Monopoly License Involved

Meanwhile, Hasbro, the owner of the Monopoly brand, clarified that it has not licensed any Monopoly-related project to Trump or any affiliated organizations.
