You can finally date your fridge: Date Everything releases June 17

Mark your calendars (or, you know, flirt with one) — Date Everything is officially launching on June 17. After a slight delay earlier this year, the infamous "date your whole house" sim is back with a new trailer, a massive cast of objects-turned-lovers, and a vibe that somehow gets weirder the more you look at it.

The game lets you romance (or befriend or hate) nearly everything in your living space. We’re talking laundry hampers, boilers, coat racks, even your front door — lovingly named Front Dorian. You can visit the Steam store page of this game now. You’ll use a pair of “dateviators” to bring objects to life, then start navigating one of over 100 branching relationship paths. Yes, 100. It has full voice acting.

And it’s not just any cast — they’ve pulled in some serious names: Matt Mercer, Laura Bailey, Troy Baker, Ben Starr, and Neil Newbon are all voicing inanimate objects, possibly the peak moment of voice acting as an industry.

“We were too confident that we could properly test ALL the wild amount of content and pathing that exists in this massive game.”

That’s how devs Sassy Chap Games explained the earlier delay. The game was originally planned for a Valentine’s Day drop but needed more testing to handle all the relationship logic — because let’s face it, when your oven starts flirting with your blender, things get complicated.

The newly released trailer introduces Skylar, your virtual guide to this very strange universe. You’ll navigate three core paths with each character — love, friendship, and hate — and your choices will determine how your appliance soulmates respond.

Honestly, Date Everything might sound like a meme game at first (and it kind of is), but it’s also weirdly sincere. Like Hatoful Boyfriend before it, it leans into absurdity but still gives you the option to genuinely connect with the world — whether you’re falling in love with a sentient light switch or ghosting a seductive microwave.

The game feels tailor-made for streaming, reaction videos, or just hanging out with friends while yelling "NO, NOT THE HAMSTER WHEEL." And if you’re already into the more experimental side of dating sims, this one looks like it’ll hit that sweet spot of unhinged and unexpectedly wholesome.

Date Everything drops June 17 on PC via Steam. Whether you’re looking for love, chaos, or just want to hear Troy Baker voice a teapot, this one’s worth checking out — at least ironically. Probably.
