Filming Uncharted has not yet begun

On July 15, Tom Holland, approved for the lead role in the film, hinted that film production had already begun. Sony posted a statement on their Twitter account that the filming had not actually begun, but the process of preparing for them was very active and the production of the film would start soon.

The adaptation of Uncharted went a thorny path. While preparations were being made for the filming, the film managed to change seven directors. Tom Holland, known for his role as Spider-Man in the eponymous series of films, will play the young Nathan Drake, the protagonist of the Uncharted line of games. The company he will make Mark Wahlberg, who will play his senior mentor Victor Sullivan.
