Ukrainian studio Rebel Monkey Production has released a short thriller Alan Wake: Unfinished Chapter, which is already available for viewing on YouTube.

A story that blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction

The story takes place in the mysterious town of Ravine, where FBI agents arrive to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances. During the investigation, they come across a connection with a reclusive writer obsessed with the legend of Alan Wake. The deeper the agents delve into the case, the more reality intertwines with fiction, drawing them into a terrifying world they could never have imagined. With every page the author writes, the line between truth and fiction becomes less and less clear.

How the film was created

The film was made possible thanks to donations from fans of the Alan Wake games, as well as the studio's own funds. According to Stanislav Puzdryak, the head of Rebel Monkey Production, it took only one day to shoot the film. However, the preparatory process, which included searching for locations, writing a script and creating storyboards, took much longer.
