Fortnite Teases New Marvel-Themed LTM: Heroes vs. Villains Coming This Week!

Fortnite is teasing the arrival of a new Limited Time Mode (LTM), with leaks suggesting it could be tied to the ongoing Marvel collaboration. Since its launch, Fortnite has consistently introduced new ways to play, including a wide variety of LTMs and permanent game modes like "No Build" and "Reload." Now, Epic Games is hinting at the next LTM, rumored to be connected to a popular crossover event.

Marvel has been a frequent partner with Fortnite, bringing numerous characters from the comic universe into the game. Chapter 5 Season 4 introduced skins for characters like Gwenpool and Mysterio, along with new Marvel-themed locations such as Castle Doom and Doomstadt. Now, the Marvel crossover is set to expand further with the addition of a new LTM.

On Sunday morning, Fortnite officially teased the upcoming LTM through its social media channels. The teaser simply mentioned a "New LTM on Tuesday," without revealing specifics. However, well-known Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR added to the speculation, hinting that the new LTM will be "Heroes vs. Villains," aligning with the current Marvel-themed season. Additionally, all of the Marvel Mythics from previous seasons are rumored to return in this new game mode.

Fortnite Debuts New LTM on Tuesday

While Epic Games has not provided detailed information about the new LTM, there are plenty of other updates on the horizon. The Siphon mechanic is expected to return next year for testing in Competitive modes. Leaks also suggest potential patches that could bring back Chapter 2 content, and a major crossover with NASCAR is reportedly in the works.

This new LTM comes as Fortnite spinoffs also receive exciting updates. LEGO Fortnite confirmed the addition of the Air Ship, a new flying vehicle set to debut on September 17. Meanwhile, Rocket Racing received a significant update in July, introducing five new courses by Epic Games and two from 404 Creative. Fortnite fans can expect a wealth of unique content in the coming weeks, with the highly anticipated Marvel LTM dropping later this week.
