Released in early access in 2021, Valheim quickly became a surprising hit, selling over 12 million copies on Steam. The game’s popularity is partly due to its simple yet deep gameplay mechanics, including extensive crafting and base-building systems. Additionally, Valheim allows players to tame animals, which can be used as livestock or pets. Taming a wolf in Valheim is no easy task, but it can be incredibly beneficial, as they follow the player and attack most enemies on sight.

Recently, a Valheim player named ElectrycStorme shared an intriguing short video showing how they led a small army of dozens of wolves to confront Yagluth, one of Valheim's most formidable bosses. For an inexperienced player, this battle could pose a significant challenge, but ElectrycStorme defeated the monster without attacking even once. Instead, they let their wolves swarm the massive skeleton, bringing it down in about 20 seconds.

Clever Valheim Player Defeats Yagluth Using Only Wolves

In the comments of ElectrycStorme’s post, the player explained how they managed to bring so many wolves to Yagluth’s spawning location. According to ElectrycStorme, they transported a few wolves from another area and then bred them over time before attacking the boss, multiplying their numbers. Many players praised this tactic, acknowledging the power of taming animals in Valheim.

Hopefully, smart Valheim players will continue to share more interesting tricks with the community, making the game even more engaging for others.
