Windows 11 Bug: CPU Load Spikes by 10% Due to Microsoft Service Issue
Recently, attentive users have noted that Windows 11 might be placing an additional 10% load on the CPU due to a bug. Interestingly, this occurs even in idle mode.
The issue stems from the Microsoft Cross Device service, responsible for connecting smartphones and other devices to personal computers, as well as syncing data. Adding to this, the Phone Link subsystem also contributes to the CPU load.
Microsoft has acknowledged the problem and assured users that they are actively working on fixing it. However, there is currently no specific timeline provided for the release of the patch.
