Meet Robin: Honkai: Star Rail's Newest Five-Star Character Debuts in Music Video Style Trailer
The latest Honkai: Star Rail trailer has debuted an upcoming five-star character, Robin, in a unique music video format. During a recent live stream event, it was confirmed that Robin would be introduced in the first phase of the new Version 2.2, alongside a re-run banner for Topaz.
Robin is not the only new addition in Version 2.2; HoYoverse has also announced another five-star character, Boothill, a new DPS, who will appear in the second phase of the banner along with the popular Quantum user, Fu Xuan.
The official Honkai: Star Rail YouTube channel released the trailer titled "Sway to My Beat," showcasing Robin in a music video setting, fitting her background as a renowned Halovian singer from Penancony, also known as the Planet of Festivities. The trailer provides a glimpse into her life as one of the Honkai universe's most celebrated stars. Interestingly, at 15 seconds into the trailer, fans can spot comments from other well-known HoYoverse characters, like the Captain from Honkai Impact 3rd and the Traveler from Genshin Impact, on a fictional social media platform.
Early in the trailer, a scene shows a hand cleaning Robin's headpiece with a glove that fans speculate belongs to her brother, Sunday, who has been featured in the game and is rumored to join the playable roster soon. This suggests upcoming updates may explore the siblings' dynamic.
Honkai: Star Rail - Robin's Abilities
Robin, a five-star Physical unit, treads the Path of Harmony, positioning her as a support character capable of enhancing her team's performance. Leaks suggest her abilities will boost her ATK, CRIT Rate, and CRIT Damage, making her a versatile support especially beneficial for DPS characters that rely on these stats.
Her primary ability, Vox Harmonique, triggers a special state enhancing her team's ATK. Whenever a teammate attacks, Robin adds on Physical damage equal to 120% of her Attack. During this state, she is immune to Crowd Control effects but cannot take turns, focusing entirely on boosting her team's output.
