Billie Eilish Set to Rock Fortnite Festival: New Skins and Epic Crossovers Revealed for 2024!

Billie Eilish is set to make her debut at Fortnite Festival on April 23, following high-profile releases from The Weeknd and Lady Gaga. Fortnite Festival, a rhythm-based game developed by Harmonix, the creators behind Rock Band, allows players to engage in solo or group play, hitting notes in sync with their chosen instrument.

A 2024 leaked roadmap for Fortnite has revealed Billie Eilish as the upcoming headliner, with other notable artists like Metallica, Karol G, and Snoop Dogg expected to join later in the year. The leak, reported by HYPEX on Twitter and initially found on 4Chan, also hints at future collaborations with franchises such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Fantastic Four, and LEGO Star Wars, with new X-Men skins rumored to be on the way.

Eilish's entry into Fortnite will be as a character skin, available through the Fortnite Festival pass. She announced her Fortnite skin on Twitter, showcasing an image of the design along with its release date. The skin will be usable across various game modes, including Battle Royale and Rocket Racing. In preparation for its rhythm game mode, Fortnite Festival has also introduced new plastic peripherals.

In addition to the festival mode, Fortnite has been enhancing its metaverse with new game modes like LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing since December last year. The leaked roadmap also details significant updates for LEGO Fortnite, including a LEGO Star Wars collaboration expected in May, aligning with Fortnite’s annual Star Wars celebration on May 4. Whether Billie Eilish will receive her own LEGO-themed skin remains unconfirmed.

Fortnite continues to expand its collection of skins, with a recent survey hinting at potential new additions themed around samurai. This ongoing influx of diverse skins and collaborations underscores Fortnite’s unique position in the gaming world, continuously blending various IPs and personalities to maintain its uniqueness. If the recent leaks hold true, fans can look forward to a series of exciting new crossovers in the near future.
