Palworld Update Unleashes Ore Mining Revolution: How Players Are Striking It Rich!

A player in Palworld, an early access game known for its evolving gameplay, recently showcased their substantial ore collection, significantly boosted by a newly introduced ore site feature in the game's latest patch. Palworld, developed by Pocketpair, continues to evolve through regular updates that introduce fresh elements and improvements to enrich the gaming experience.

Previously, gathering ore, a crucial resource in Palworld, required players to locate and mine ore rocks scattered throughout the game's expansive world. To ensure a steady supply of ore, some players strategically positioned their bases near these respawnable rocks, which regenerated every 24 hours of in-game time. Ore is pivotal for crafting various types of Ingots in the Furnaces, such as Regular Ingot, Refined Ingot, and Pal Metal Ingot.

Addressing a community-wide request, the developers added a new feature in the patch v0.2.0.6: the Ore Mining Site. This addition allows players to efficiently gather ores right from their base using Pals equipped with Mining skills. This update aligns with Palworld's approach of incorporating production structures, like the Stone Pit and Logging Site, streamlining the acquisition of Stone and Wood. The introduction of Ore Mining Sites has been met with positive feedback, as evidenced by a Reddit user, mcduubly, who posted a screenshot displaying over 150k Ores in their Refined Metal Chest. Another player shared a video highlighting the efficiency of two Ore Mining Sites, producing about 10 Ores per second.

To access these Ore Mining Sites, players must reach level 15 and invest 2 Ancient Technology Points.

The community has identified specific Pals that excel in ore mining due to their high-level Mining Work Suitability. Among the top choices are Astegon, a Dark/Dragon Element Pal found in the Destroyed Mineshaft in the volcanic area southwest of the map, and Blazamut, a Fire Element Pal residing in the Scorching Mineshaft near the Foot of the Volcano teleport point. These Pals stand out for their mining efficiency, showcasing the strategic depth of resource management in Palworld.
