World of Warcraft Extends Kalimdor Cup Dragonriding Event

World of Warcraft enthusiasts have reason to rejoice as the Kalimdor Cup Dragonriding event has been granted an additional week of duration. This means that players can continue soaring through these captivating racecourses and securing their corresponding rewards until the imminent release of Patch 10.1.7.

The Kalimdor Cup, a time-limited Dragonriding event that commenced on August 15, invites players to traverse across the classic World of Warcraft continent, engaging in 16 Dragonriding races that encompass Normal, Advanced, and Reverse variants. Successful participation allows players to amass achievements, titles, and Riders of Azeroth badges, which can be exchanged for personalized modifications for Dragonriding Drakes, a transmog ensemble, and reputation enhancement with the Valdrakken Accord.

Initially slated to conclude on August 28, the Kalimdor Cup's deadline has now been extended to September 4, coinciding with the day preceding the release of Dragonflight Patch 10.1.7, known as Fury Incarnate. This extension not only grants players an additional week to earn event rewards but also offers an engaging diversion to occupy their time until the arrival of the new content update.

Players can participate in the Kalimdor Cup races prior to unlocking Dragonriding on the Dragon Isles. While the event NPCs were initially stationed solely in Valdrakken, World of Warcraft has introduced new NPCs in Orgrimmar and Stormwind. Upon reaching level 30, players can acquire the quest and partake in races even without possessing Dragonflight. However, mastering these races, especially the challenging Advanced and Reverse courses, necessitates obtaining Dragonriding Glyphs from the Dragon Isles.
