The release of the game "Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal" for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices has been announced

IO Interactive Announces Reissue of Hitman: Blood Money as 'Reprisal' for iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch

IO Interactive has announced the reissue of the iconic stealth-action game Hitman: Blood Money, titled 'Reprisal.' The original game was released in 2006 and has since become a genre classic. The new version of the game will be available for iOS and Android devices this fall, as well as for the Nintendo Switch during the upcoming winter season.

'Reprisal' represents a complete overhaul of the original game, with enhancements tailored for screens of various sizes, including a new minimap, instinct mode, and gameplay improvements inspired by later entries in the Hitman series. Both mobile versions will also feature a fully customizable touchscreen interface, as well as support for controllers and keyboard & mouse.

It's important to note that IO Interactive will continue to develop its successful 'Hitman: World of Assassination' trilogy, but the next major installment of this franchise is temporarily taking a backseat. Instead, in November 2020, the company announced its work on an official James Bond game with the working title 'Project 007,' which will introduce an original origin story for the renowned secret agent.
