The upcoming Indie World event from Nintendo is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, at 9 am PT/ 12 pm ET/ 5 pm GMT. The live stream will be available on Nintendo's YouTube channel or through the embedded video at the top of this page.

As stated by Nintendo, the new presentation will showcase "approximately 20 minutes of new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch."

Indie World presentations differ from the main Nintendo Direct presentations, which typically focus on larger first-party and third-party games. The last Nintendo Direct, broadcasted on September 14, included announcements such as Mario vs Donkey Kong, Super Mario RPG, Another Code: Recollection, F-Zero 99, and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

Nintendo's president, Shuntaro Furukawa, declined to comment on the company's plans for the next gaming console last week, as it was announced that Switch has now reached 132.46 million units sold throughout its history.

This implies that Switch has just over 21 million units to surpass Nintendo DS and become Nintendo's best-selling gaming console, with Nintendo DS boasting 154 million units sold. Outside of Nintendo's console lineup, only PlayStation 2 (155 million) has outsold Nintendo Switch.

For the three months ending on September 30, Nintendo reported an operating profit of 94.5 billion yen and revenue of 334.9 billion yen, surpassing analysts' expectations, according to Bloomberg.
