Renowned data researcher billbil-kun claims that a remake of a popular adventure game will soon be announced.
Reportedly, the game will be released by 505 Games and might potentially be unveiled at The Game Awards ceremony on Thursday night.
"Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons" was created by Swedish-Lebanese filmmaker Josef Fares in collaboration with Starbreeze. The game follows a fantasy journey of two brothers in search of a cure to save their dying father.
Initially launched in 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, it later expanded to other platforms, including PS4, Xbox One, iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Nintendo Switch, and Amazon Luna. The 2019 Switch release added a new two-player co-op mode.
"Brothers" received numerous accolades, including the award for Best Innovation at the 2014 BAFTA Video Game Awards.
In 2015, Starbreeze announced the transfer of rights for "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons" to the publisher 505 Games, stated by the former president, Ian Howe, who highlighted the game's emotional impact, marking it as one of the most emotional games of the previous generation.
