This two-part expansion was initially revealed in February, with Part 1, "The Teal Mask," having been released in September.

Priced at $34.99 or £31.49, "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero" will take players beyond the Paldea region, the setting of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which are the first open-world RPGs in the Pokémon series.

Part 1, "The Teal Mask," allowed players to journey to the land of Kitakami, where people reside at the base of towering mountains, and the serene landscape is teeming with nature unfamiliar to Paldea, thriving among rice paddies and apple orchards.

Part 2, "The Indigo Disk," transfers players from Naranja Academy to its sister school, Blueberry Academy. Unlike Naranja Academy, with its long and rich history, this school was recently established and focuses on teaching Pokémon battles. What makes Blueberry Academy unique is that a significant portion of it is situated directly in the sea!
