PlayStation Plus subscribers have the opportunity to claim the August Essential games until September 4. Among them are PGA Tour 2K23 (PS5, PS4), Dreams (PS4), and Death’s Door (PS5, PS4).

Volition's Saints Row reboot first appeared on consoles and PC (via the Epic Games Store) in August 2022. A Steam version was released this month, along with the game's third DLC expansion.

Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors previously expressed personal disappointment about the reception of Saints Row when he spoke at Embracer's annual shareholder meeting in September.

"I personally had hoped for a more enthusiastic response to the game," he noted at the time. "Reactions were varied. There are many aspects that could be clarified, but on one hand, I'm glad to see that many gamers and fans are satisfied, and at the same time, I'm sorry not all fans are content, so it's a complex situation."
