All Xbox owners will have the opportunity to experience a ten-hour trial version of Diablo 4 this weekend
A special trial version of Diablo 4 is now available to all Xbox console owners as part of the Free Play Days promotion. This long-running initiative by Xbox offers Game Pass subscribers the chance to try out full versions of selected games for free each weekend.
What's intriguing is that you don't need a Game Pass membership to try Diablo 4. However, it's important to note that your playtime is limited to 10 hours, as Microsoft has stated.
In addition to Diablo 4, Game Pass Core and Game Pass Ultimate members can also get a taste of new games, including NBA 2K24, the Lawn Mowing Simulator, and the world of Hokko Life during this weekend.
Free Play Days began on Thursday morning and will run until Sunday, October 22, ending at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (or 2:59 AM Eastern Time/ 7:59 AM British Summer Time on October 23).
Diablo 4 Season 2, titled the "Season of Blood," kicked off on October 17, coinciding with the game's release on the Steam platform. This season introduces a new questline where players can recruit a vampire hunter voiced by the renowned actress Gemma Chan.
Released in June on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles, Diablo 4 has become Blizzard's fastest-selling title to date, according to the publisher, known for its work on World of Warcraft.
Recently, Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard and reported that over 10 million players "tried out" Diablo 4 in its launch month. Nevertheless, Xbox's head, Phil Spencer, stated that the addition of Activision Blizzard games to Game Pass is not expected until at least 2024.
