After installing the new patch for Diablo 4, accidentally activating the Premium Battle Pass becomes more challenging
Before the update, when selecting the "Season" tab from the in-game menu, the cursor would automatically move to the "Activate Premium" button. This button instantly activated the Battle Pass without confirmation, leading to unintended consequences. Some players accidentally activated the pass and couldn't cancel the process, resulting in accusations of deceptive design by Blizzard.
However, according to the patch notes for Diablo 4 version 1.1.0c, Blizzard made changes to prevent such occurrences. They "updated the activation of the premium Battle Pass with a confirmation pop-up window."
Now, when players choose the "Season" tab from the menu, the "Season Journey" button becomes the default selection instead of the "Activate Premium" button. This means that players no longer activate the pass accidentally, and they are provided with additional confirmation to avoid misunderstandings.
