The ROG Ally is available for purchase starting today
Today, the first batch of ROG Ally portable gaming devices is being shipped to customers. If you've already pre-ordered, it means your month-long wait is over, and you can now purchase one of these fast AMD-based portable PCs directly from stores.
US - $700
Australia - $1,299 AUD
UK - £699
Canada - $900 CAD
Germany - €799
France - €800
In most regions I checked, you can simply buy one of these consoles right now without any immediate rush to buy them on the secondary market. Below, you'll find some links to retail sellers that might be helpful.
It's worth noting that ROG Ally is widely available worldwide, which is in stark contrast to Valve Steam Deck. My Australian colleague, Chris Shevchik, quickly reminded me that Steam Deck is still not officially sold by Valve in the country (although you can purchase it through other means in Australia).
It's not surprising that the first batch of ROG Ally portable gaming devices sold out in Australia through Asus' own store. But don't worry, the second batch will be available later this month, and you can still sign up to receive availability notifications.
