With the latest update 24.40, Fortnite Battle Royale will introduce a ranked league with different levels. Among them will be bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond, elite, legendary, and unreal. The first three levels will have three stages of progression, while the last three will have one stage each.
The initial rating in the "Battle Royale" and "Zero Point" modes will be determined based on the results of previous themed matches, including player placement and eliminations. To start participating, it is enough to take part in just one of them.
Players will be able to embark on their journey with the zero-ranked season, which will last until the end of Chapter 4, Season 3. It is worth noting that the main modes will have different ranking systems.
The unreal rating will remain with the player until the end of the season, and everyone will be able to find their place in the corresponding leaderboard by following a special link. In the ranked game mode, players will compete against others who have chosen the same format. The developers have made certain balance changes to the mode, including:
- The maximum number of materials has been reduced from 999 to 500 units.
- Resource gathering speed has been increased.
- After being eliminated, players will leave behind 50 units of each type of material.
Additionally, update 24.40 includes a number of other additional changes, the details of which can be found on the official Fortnite website.
