The PlayStation Plus Essential games for May 2023 have been disclosed prior to their official announcement

Games available on PlayStation Plus every month have become a common occurrence, thanks to users like billbil-kun on Dealabs who has been consistently leaking the lineup since September 2021.

According to the user, in May, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have access to GRID Legends (PS5, PS4), Chivalry 2 (PS5, PS4), and Descenders (PS5, PS4), which will be available starting on Tuesday, May 2, for approximately a month.

In April 2023, PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers will be able to get Sackboy A Big Adventure (PS5/PS4), Meet Your Maker (PS5/PS4), and Tails of Iron (PS5/PS4) for free, which will be available until May 1.

Classic PlayStation Plus games and add-ons for the May game catalog will likely be revealed soon.

Classic PlayStation Plus games for April include Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Doom Eternal, Riders Republic, The Evil Within, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Paradise Killer, and Dishonored: Definitive Edition.

The Essential tier of PlayStation Plus is the base level and provides subscribers with access to several free games every month. Subscribers can continue to play these games even after they are no longer available for download at the end of the month as long as they maintain a subscription to PlayStation Plus Essential or a higher tier.
