QuakeCon 2023 is coming back to its origins!
Important announcement! After three years of digital events, QuakeCon 2023 will return in-person and take place at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas from Thursday, August 10th to Sunday, August 13th.
“QuakeCon is our favorite event of the year, and we can't wait to see our incredible QuakeCon community in person again, celebrate gaming, and play all night with thousands of friends,” shared Marty Stratton, Head of id Software studio. “QuakeCon 2023 will focus on our beloved BYOC audience and gamers who have made QuakeCon the best gaming gathering for over 25 years in our first year back.
This iconic fan gathering will return with its dedicated audience for four days of round-the-clock gaming on an enhanced BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN party, plenty of fun activities and gatherings for old and new friends. Additionally, as in previous years, the full program will be livestreamed on Twitch from the BYOC floor for those who cannot make it back to the QuakeCon homeland.
This year's attendance at QuakeCon will be by invitation only, with access limited to pre-registered BYOC guests, and there will be no exhibitor hall or general access at QuakeCon 2023 due to the emphasis on the BYOC personal experience.
For ticketed guests, many popular fan-favorite events will return, such as the Tabletop Village, BYOC community events, and QuakeCon Finals Party. QuakeCon will also host the annual Quake World Championships esports finals with Quake Champions, as well as several vendors and experiences in support of the BYOC. The full schedule, features, events, and show layout will be coming soon. Join the QuakeCon Community Discord
