Steam DB published the TOP 10 most popular games of the year: God of War is third, and Persona 5 Royal is not in the top five

On the eve of 2023, Valve decided to take stock of the outgoing 2022. The SteamDB portal published a list of the 10 most popular Steam games released in 2022.

Vampire Survivors, released on October 20, snatched the championship branch. A simple isometric indie slasher with simple gameplay in the form of farming endless waves of monsters made a splash: the game received 170,014 positive reviews with 1,943 negative ones, and at its peak, 77,061 users played Vampire Survivors.

Also in the TOP 10 was the adventure of a cyberpunk cat from Stray, the family drama of Kratos and Atreus from God of War and other hits. The entire list of the ten most popular games looks like this:
