Silviu Stroie announced on his Twitter account that World Cyber Games will be held again in 2018. It will take place in the end of April and Bangkok. Currently, there is no information what main esports disciplines will be played on the event.
See also: Jones Family and John Goff bought compLexity Gaming The organizers of WCG2018 will reveal more details later. For the last time, World Cyber Games was held in 2012 in Kunshan, China. For CS:GO, the prize pool was $40,000. TyLoo won WCG 2012 in CS:GO discipline, and was rewarded with $25,000. As for Dota 2, the prize pool was $33,000. Invictus Gaming won WCG 2012 in Dota 2 discipline, and got $20,000.
