Silviu Stroie announced on his Twitter account that World Cyber Games will be held again in 2018. It will take place in the end of April and Bangkok. Currently, there is no information what main esports disciplines will be played on the event.

For CS:GO, the prize pool was $40,000. TyLoo won WCG 2012 in CS:GO discipline, and was rewarded with $25,000. As for Dota 2, the prize pool was $33,000. Invictus Gaming won WCG 2012 in Dota 2 discipline, and got $20,000.
