Valve exceeded their expectations for Steam Deck production
Lawrence Yang, who is responsible for sending Steam Deck to customers, delighted the audience on his Twitter account. He said that Valve is overfulfilling the plan for the production of a portable game console and some of the users who expected to receive a Steam Deck in the fourth quarter may become happy owners of the console in the third.
He wrote this as a result of a mass mailing of letters to users. The latter received a message with the words “Q4 window” or “Q3 window”, indicating the exact quarter when they will receive the device. Lawrence clarified that this was by no means a mistake.
