Fans will release a 528-page book with analysis of the lore of the original Dark Souls
In honor of the 10th anniversary of Dark Souls, Tune & Fairweather unveiled the Abyssal Archive.
Abyssal Archive is a 528-page fan-made book of the original Dark Souls lore analysis to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary.
The publication came out extremely massive, so the book was divided into two volumes. In addition to the two volumes, the set also includes a large map of Lordran, created by artist Judson Cowan. This individually bound map, placed alongside the books, completes the set, making the Abyssal Archive a must-have for fans of Miyazaki's gothic masterpiece.
While not an officially licensed product from FromSoftware, this set represents the most comprehensive analysis of the game's mythos ever undertaken by fans. Presented in the most deluxe collector's edition to date. Fans have chosen to pay tribute to Miyazaki's legendary performance by creating something that embodies the same care and attention to detail that makes Dark Souls itself an incomparable work of art.
This set will cost 180 euros, and the release is planned for early 2023.
