God of War Ragnarok is coming to PS4 and PS5 in 2022!
The studio developing the latest Kratos game, God of War Ragnarok, has pleased fans of the series with the fact that the title will be released in 2022. The story about Kratos will hit the shelves of retail and online stores on November 9th.
God of War Ragnarok is a game that tells about the end of the story of the god Kratos and his son Atreus. Cory Balrog, producer of the God of War series, said that this part of the franchise would be a great conclusion and after that the studio is not going to turn the game into a conveyor and the story about the Greek god has already outlived its usefulness.
The game's prequel and reboot of the God of War series (2018) was a very successful product from Sony Entertainment. The game sold 3.1 million copies in its first three days and 5 million copies in its first week of release. Game critics praised the work done by the developers of the title, and the game itself received many awards, including "Special Commendation for Graphics", "Best Action and Adventure Game", "Best Story", "Best Visual Design", "Best Sound" and others. God of War on PlayStation 4 received very high scores, and on the main review aggregator Metacritic, the title received an average score of 94 out of 100 according to game journalists and 9.1 out of 10 according to general users.
The game will have an enhanced edition called Jotnar Edition. In addition to the physical copy of the game, players will receive in addition to the bundled falcon, bear and wolf shaped pins, a 7-inch vinyl with the soundtrack of composer Beer McReary, a Steelbook, 2-inch carved twin figurines, a lore-keeper's chest, a legendary Draupnir's ring, Thor's Mjolnir 16 inches long, and Yggdrasil's leather map. From the additional content, users will receive three new items for Kratos and one additional cosmetic item for Atreus.
