CD Projekt RED informed their fans a great news – since August 2017, a series of tournaments for card game GWENT with various prize pools and statuses will start. The championship itself is planned for January 2019.
Also read: World Champion for Formula 1 will be organized.

Masters series is divided into three tournaments with different status:

Sign Up- GWENT Open — 8 championships; prize pool for each is $25,000
- GWENT Challenger — 4 championships; prize pool for each is $100,000
- GWENT World Masters — final tournament of a series; prize pool is$250,000
LAN-finals will be played in Poland, China, USA, Germany, and Japan, however, the cities to host the events are unknown now. Only participants of Pro Ladder, that will get points on the official tournaments of CD Projekt Red and events of other organizers, will be able to join the series.
