About a month ago, Kena: Bridge of Spirits by Ember Lab was released. This project was the studio's debut, and its success or failure has influenced whether Ember Lab will remain in the video game development industry.
Apparently, they will remain. In a recent conversation with Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, the authors of Kena: Bridge of Spirits stated that the game has fully paid for itself and will now be a net profit.
Ember Lab does not give exact numbers, but notes that Sony, the publisher of the game, is very pleased. The studio with a clear conscience will begin creating the next project, which will be a story-driven game like Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
