Bernd Leno enters esports
German football star Bernd Leno, known for playing for Arsenal and the German national team, has signed contract with a five FIFA players. They will perform under the tag Leno e-sports.
It is worth noting that not all cyber football players have the experience of performing at a professional level. For example, Jan Niklas Flök was able to get into the eight of the best participants in Virtuelle Bundesliga 2018, and Daniel Mutich, in turn, selected for FIFA 2019 FUT Champions Cup 1 and eCL.
As for the other representatives of Leno e-sports, namely Max Lud, Paul Kovtun and Joe Hellman, their experience of playing in major championships is absent. The main goal of Bernd Leno was to help develop e-sports in the administrative region of Stuttgart.
The German BILD portal, citing its sources, reported that the German footballer had a meeting with five cybersportsmen last month at the O2 arena in London during the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019.
The arrival of a football star in the world of computer sports is no longer unusual. Last year, for example, another Arsenal player, Mesut Ozil also founded his own team called M10 eSports, enlisting the help of eSportsReputation.
