The January 2026 Treasure Link campaign has officially arrived in eFootball 2026. While the core format remains familiar, this edition introduces several notable changes—some welcome, others far less so. How the Treasure Link Works

The Treasure Link campaign continues to use the Line Objective system. During the event period:

• Players receive one Treasure Link upon logging in
• Up to three additional Treasure Links can be earned by playing:

1. PvP matches (excluding Exhibition)
2. VS AI matches in eFootball League

At any given time, a player can hold up to four Treasure Links. Each Treasure Link features a 3×3 reward board, and since every board is unique, sharing and coordination with other players remain essential strategies.

The January 2026 Treasure Link campaign runs for two weeks, from January 8 to January 22, 2026.

What’s New in the January 2026 Edition

Major Downgrades

The most disappointing change is the reduction in Chance Deals. In the previous campaign, Special-tier rewards granted x2 Chance Deals, but this has now been cut down to x1 across all rewards, significantly lowering overall value.

Another controversial change is the gated unlock system. Unlike previous events, all Treasure Link options are no longer available immediately:

• Two options unlock only after January 15, 2026
• The final option becomes available only after completing the first Treasure Link

This restriction limits player freedom and slows overall progress.

One Small Positive

On the brighter side—though overshadowed by the negatives—the campaign once again includes stadium customization rewards in the Big Winner tier. This gives players another opportunity to obtain Customization Parts they may have missed in the previous event.

Total Chance Deal Calculations

Despite the downgrade, a decent number of Chance Deals can still be earned with full participation.

• Each completed Special Pink board provides:

1. 9 Chance Deals from reward squares
2. 8 Chance Deals from completed lines
3. Total: 17 Chance Deals per board

Possible Scenarios:

• Three Special Treasure Links:

1. 17 × 3 = 51 Chance Deals
2. Plus 8 extra Chance Deals from line rewards
3. Total: 59 Chance Deals

• Four Special Treasure Links (including login reward): 17 × 4 = 68 Chance Deals (maximum possible)

For comparison, the previous season allowed players to earn up to 100 Chance Deals, meaning the January 2026 Treasure Link campaign offers over 30% fewer pulls overall.
