Gameplay Enhancements in FC Mobile’s June 2025 Update

Drawing from months of community input, EA has introduced wide-ranging adjustments aimed at refining gameplay realism and balance. The main focus lies in improving the passing system and VS Attack fairness, along with a number of subtle tweaks to elevate the overall experience.

⚽ Precision Passing Overhaul

Passing has always been central to football, and the update finally addresses long-standing issues across various passing types.

Ground Passes

  • Passes now behave more realistically, factoring in the receiving player's momentum, movement direction, and field position.
  • Accuracy relative to joystick aim and angle has been improved.
  • Speed of Swerve Passes now varies more naturally depending on foot placement (inside vs outside of the foot).
  • Pass Blocks and Interceptions now take defender attributes more seriously—expect sharper defensive reactions from skilled players.

Ground Through Passes

  • Through passes now travel farther and more accurately, landing directly at the feet of teammates running into open space.
  • These passes are now less likely to go astray and provide better timing for runs behind the defensive line.

Driven Ground Passes

  • These passes have been re-tuned for greater precision, with smarter targeting that better respects the positioning of both passer and receiver.
  • Defenders are less likely to intercept them unless exceptionally well-placed.

⚔️ VS Attack Mode Revamp

The VSA mode has received significant attention, with multiple enhancements designed to ensure a smoother, more balanced experience for all players:

  • More Starting Chances introduced for increased variety and fairness.
  • Good and Great Chances now reflect team OVR more accurately.
  • Reduced difficulty for Good and Great Chances, allowing for clearer attacking strategies.
  • Basic Chances have been diversified for added challenge and unpredictability.
  • Decreased frequency of fullback-starting chances in Back 4 and Back 5 formations.
  • Chances will now terminate instantly after goalkeeper saves, tackles, or fouls made far from the goal, speeding up transitions.
  • Goalkeepers will now rush out less frequently.
  • New Feature: Players can now change the gameplay camera angle, adding a layer of personalization to match views.

🛠 Additional Improvements and Bug Fixes

EA has also implemented a variety of balance updates and minor fixes based on community feedback:

  • Referee behavior has been refined to ensure more impartial foul decisions.
  • AI difficulty tuning in PvE matches for better pacing and fairness.
  • Enhanced responsiveness for Heel to Heel and Stepover & Exit skill moves to better align with player stats.
  • Improved speed acceleration during skill moves.
  • Passing speed in Manager Mode has been optimized.
  • Improved defender selection logic for the AI during corner kicks.
  • A fix has been applied to an issue where the camera wouldn’t revert to default after a blocked free kick.
  • General performance improvements and greater connectivity stability have also been included.

The June 2025 Rivals Patch represents one of the most comprehensive gameplay updates to FC Mobile in recent memory. EA plans to continue monitoring feedback closely to ensure balanced and rewarding play in future updates.
