X7 Esports приобретает Bulldog Esports

Isle of Man-based X7 Esports has acquired the British esports organization Bulldog Esports. As a result of the acquisition, the organization has appointed Bulldog Esports founder Anthony Newton as Director of Esports. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Prior to the Bulldog Esports acquisition, the X7 Esports organization was rumored to be in negotiations for a possible acquisition with several esports organizations participating in the UK League Championship (UKLC).

According to the release, the organization aimed to attract "someone with experience and passion for player and staff development" and "a brand with a large community."

The announcement came shortly after X7 entered into a sponsorship deal with Digital Isle of Man, part of the State Department of Enterprise Affairs.

Founded in 2014, Bulldog Esports is a UK-based esports organization that is represented in disciplines such as League of Legends and VALORANT.
