Overwatch League lost three more sponsors
Activision Blizzard has lost another Overwatch League sponsor. This time the partnership agreements were renegotiated by Pringles, IBM and State Farm. Recall that not so long ago, T-Mobile did this. The companies have not made any official statements, but they have disappeared from the list of partners on the official Overwatch League website.
Additionally, as of August 3, the Cheez-It Grooves and Pringles logos have disappeared from the list of Overwatch League partners. In recent days, the logos of the IBM technology company and the State Farm insurance company have disappeared from the site. While the Coca-Cola logo still appears in the partnerships section, the company is already renegotiating its agreement with Activision Blizzard as a result of a lawsuit.
Not only did Activision Blizzard sue the state of California, but it also faced a lawsuit from its own shareholders for not disclosing information related to it. The second lawsuit accuses Blizzard of covering up the lawsuit to maintain stock prices.
A week later, amid the scandal, the capitalization of Activision Blizzard fell by $ 4 billion. On August 3, it became known that the president of Activision Blizzard, Jay Allen Brack, would leave his post amid the outbreak of the scandal.
