ReKTGlobal is now collaborating with Breakaway Music Festival
Esports infrastructure company ReKTGlobal has announced a partnership with Breakaway Music Festival to provide esports venues for the festival venues.
The halls will feature a mix of solo play, interactive experiences and performances, according to a press release.
Participants will also be able to take part in hourly offline tournaments with live commentary. In addition, the lounges will be equipped with up to 50 gaming stations for casual play. A whole host of live activations are also planned, involving professional gamers and performers.
The company's esports venues are expected to attend Breakaway Festivals in Michigan, Ohio and North Carolina. Breakaway hosts many music festivals across the US, some of the artists announced for the three confirmed cities are The Chainsmokers, Martin Garrix, Kygo, and Illenium.
Despite being an esports organization, ReKTGlobal is closely associated with the music industry thanks to the company's owner team that includes the likes of Steve Aoki, Imagine Dragons and Nicky Romero.
Some of the ReKTGlobal brands include the Call of Duty League London Royal Ravens team and the European League of Legends Rogue franchise. Earlier this year, the firm also announced its acquisition of TalentX Entertainment to create a new digital talent management company called ReKTX.
