Manu Marzban, Chief Marketing Officer, Nicecactus: "We are planning to launch fantastic multi-discipline competitions for players of all levels. We want the island to enjoy the thrill of the tournament, the benefits of training and the benefits of personalized tracking."

ZEOP is also interested in the provision of competitive gaming opportunities and support local talent in the field of gaming and eSports.

Frédéric Le Boterve, Deputy CEO of ZEOP: "We are delighted to be working with Nicecactus on this project. At ZEOP we are working hard to bring to the Island all the technological and telecommunications advantages that many people in mainland France enjoy."

Note that earlier, in 2021, ZEOP showed its new submarine cable connecting Reunion Island with South Africa and Mauritius after five years of work. Nicecactus recently announced a partnership with Kenyan esports platform Wolfie Sports and mobile banking provider Mpesa.
