GCN joins forces with Black Fire Innovation
The esports media group Gaming Community Network (GCN) has announced a partnership with provider Black Fire Innovation.
Through this deal, GCN plans to implement several initiatives, including hosting peer esports tournaments and hosting and coaching content creators.
Drew Brunson, VP of Partnerships and Activations at GCN: "The collaboration between Black Fire Innovation and GCN will foster esports innovation to create more opportunities and collaboration across the broader video game industry."
Black Fire Innovation was created through a partnership between Ceasars Entertainment and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
The partnership envisions GCN contributing to the curriculum of a series of esports and gaming masterclasses for UNLV students to gain experience in the industry. Other brands will also be encouraged to participate in GCN programs at Black Fire Innovation facilities.
Note that Black Fire Innovation facilities were also hosted by GCN and Van Wagner Collegiate Esports Invitational, which took place earlier this year.
