Prêmio eSports Brasil (Brazil Esports Awards), the premier eSports awards ceremony in Brazil, has sold 50% of its shares to marketing and tournament agency V3A. V3A will now replace the former owner and organizer of Go4it, which will only focus on business investment as Go4it Capital, without going into operations.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Through this deal, V3A joins Brazilian telecom giant Globo to host the annual awards ceremony, which was first launched in 2017. Interestingly, this is not the first partnership between V3A and Globo: earlier this year, the companies also co-founded the World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) tournament in Latin America.
