Razer invested in The Nurturing Co
Gaming equipment maker Razer has invested in bamboo toilet paper company The Nurturing Co. Note that the company is known for producing sustainable products, which fits into Razer's strategy to develop and support green technologies.
The deal was struck in honor of Earth Day. As noted by Razer, making bamboo toilet paper requires 90% less water than making conventional paper. The company claims that a family of four will save over 30,000 liters of water in a year if they use the sustainable version of the product.
In celebration of Earth Day and in line with the 10-year sustainability roadmap, Razer has committed $ 50 million to support and invest in environmental and sustainability startups. The Razer Green Fund will be managed by zVentures, a division of Razer, and will form an integral part of Razer's strategic investment activities.
Fitting with the company's overall strategy, the Razer Green Fund will seek to foster this mindset among youth, millennials and Gen-Z through selective strategic investments. These investments are aimed at accelerating the sustainable development of companies with a focus on renewable energy, carbon and plastic management. With the Razer Green Fund, startups can confidently deliver innovative technologies that will help shape the world for generations to come.
