Razer Invitational - North America Series Launches May
Gaming brand Razer has announced the Razer Invitational - North America, an online regional esports tournament open to gaming communities in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The championship is part of the Razer Invitational 2021 and follows in the footsteps of last year's tournaments in Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia. Note that the championship starts in North America on May 8.
Every week, throughout May and early June, athletes from across the continent will have the opportunity to compete in a variety of disciplines including Fortnite, Rainbow Six Siege and Brawl Stars.
The prize pool will include gaming equipment, presumably provided by Razer, as well as $ 30,000. Last year, the Razer Invitational captured the attention of fans in three regions, where 22 countries and nearly 60,000 people competed in massive tournaments, according to a press release.
This year's tournament will be split into three weekly rounds across a variety of console platforms including Xbox, PlayStation, PC and mobile. Players will be able to register as teams or individuals to participate in the championship.
