UTA names Clinton Foy as its venture partner
Talent, entertainment and sports agency UTA has announced that investment veteran Clinton Foy will join UTA Ventures as the general partner of Venture Capital.
Working with Sam Wick, CEO of UTA Ventures, Foy will focus on the growth and development of the company's investment platforms.
Prior to joining UTA, Foy was the General Partner and Managing Director of Crosscut Ventures, where he was a lead investor in several successful companies including Streamlabs, PlayVS and FitOn.
He also became famous for his work with esports organization Immortals, founding the organization's gaming club brand. Most notably, he was the chief operating officer of gaming company Square Enix, which is known for games like Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy.
Foy will primarily focus on areas such as private equity, venture capital and fund development for the company.
Note that earlier UTA Ventures invested in the North American organization Cloud9.
