LDN UTD partners with Matchroom

UK esports organization LDN UTD has announced its partnership with sports programming provider Matchroom, aiming to combine esports with traditional sporting events and athletes.

According to the release, the "first phase" of the partnership is expected to focus on Professional Darts Corporation, followed by a regular "Matchroom Monday" series with Matchroom Boxing athletes.

The collaborative content appearing on Matchroom and LDN UTD social channels will include athletes from the Professional Darts Corporation, as well as players from the esports organization's FIFA, League of Legends, VALORANT and Fortnite rosters.

In addition, Matchroom athletes will participate in LDN UTD's campaigns dedicated to inclusion, diversity and wellness.

Matchroom Mondays kicks off at a later date with a series featuring content from a variety of eSports disciplines. Various themes will also be used in addition to each of the esports players and athletes. The activation is also expected to provide opportunities for community engagement and participation around the world.
