Funspark announces partnership with GRID
Chinese tournament operator Funspark has selected the Berlin-based GRID platform to provide data integrity and visualization services for its upcoming Funspark ULTI 2021 series.
The CS: GO series with a total prize pool of $ 630,000 will run from March 29 to December 12 and will end with a grand finale on an as yet unannounced date.
According to a press release, the tournament is part of Funspark's initiative to develop the CS: GO ecosystem in Asia, as well as connect Chinese teams to European franchises. Funspark is also committed to creating global competition and promoting local talent in the process.
The GRID agreement continues the company's trend towards partnering with tournament organizers, with Funspark joining companies such as WePlay Esports and Esforce Holding as partners.
GRID will provide real-time statistics and predictions for all events in the series, as well as links to social media for dissemination. In addition, Relog Media partnered with the Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Series to assist in its production. Note that GRID is currently collaborating with Relog Media in the Home Sweet Home series.
