ReKTGlobal acquires TalentX Entertainment
Esports infrastructure company ReKTGlobal acquired TalentX Entertainment and subsequently formed a new digital talent management company called ReKTX.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the acquisition by ReKTGlobal is described as “strengthening” the leader of the creator economy.
The acquisition will consolidate ReKTGlobal's previous venture with TalentX - known as TalentX Gaming - and TalentX Entertainment to form the newly formed ReKTX, which will become the new talent management arm of the North American firm.
ReKTX unite TalentX portfolio, which includes such influential people as Noah Beck, Bryce Hall, Josh Richards and Griffin Johnson, with ReKTGlobal knowledge in the field of e-sports, traditional sports, music and entertainment.
Founded in 2017 by Amish Shah and Dave Bialek, ReKTGlobal is the parent company of the Rogue and Call of Duty The London Royal Ravens franchise.
According to the release, ReKTGlobal will leverage its expertise in the sector to provide customer services including tournament management, monetization and fan management, content creation and digital media support.
